I have 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering and enterprise platform delivery across retail, real estate, e-commerce, manufacturing, and loyalty.

Make the decisions clear.
Start with the context.
Understand the business need, platform constraints, and the people who will operate the system.
Write down the boundaries.
Make ownership, access, and architecture decisions explicit so teams have something they can use and review.
Plan for the handover.
Build maintainable systems and leave enough documentation for the next engineer.
